Alice in Volapük-Land

Lewis Carroll-s Alice in Wonderland is going to be translated into Volapük! The work in progress can be read at the Volapük Yahoo group--- it-s in the files. Here is a picture of the cover of the book. Isn-t it cool?

  1. I am loving this, the translation at the Volapük Yahoo group, is helping me a lot in my studies of the language!

    1. It seems to be the never never. It was meant to be out in 2011, then 2012, and so on. I know it is a painstaking process but I hope to see it this year. I have Alice in every other constructed language in which it has been published

  3. Frankly I don't think it will ever be published, at least not in book format.

  4. It will not be published because the existing Volapük translation would have needed thorough editing. This was not possible as there was no-one knowledgeable enough to do it and with enough time available for such a demanding job.
